Pilates: Fusion is already making waves on the B/SPOKE schedule, and we’re looking to expand our team! This second round of instructor training is your chance to join the next phase of growth for this exciting format.
About PILATES: FUSION at B/SPOKE
Pilates: Fusion blends the core-focused precision of Mat Pilates with the muscular endurance and isometric strength of Barre. Set to music and brought to life through B/SPOKE’s immersive studio experience, this low-impact, high-energy class challenges both body and mind while leaving clients feeling strong, empowered, and energized. Expect:

✔️ Small-range, Barre-inspired movements
✔️ Isometric holds + muscular endurance
✔️ Music-forward movement, synced to the beat
✔️ Purposeful lighting, strong playlists, and full-studio energy
Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking instructors in Boston, Wellesley, and Cape Cod with experience in Pilates, Barre, or similar fitness modalities who can confidently lead group classes with musicality and energy.
Qualifications
Required:
✔️ Active Mat Pilates or Barre Certification
✔️ At least 1 year of recent group fitness teaching experience
✔️ Ability to program + cue on beat with strong musicality
✔️ Understanding of anatomy and safe movement principles
✔️ Availability to teach 2+ classes per week, including weekends
✔️ Coachable, positive, and eager to grow
✔️ Alignment with B/SPOKE’s values, energy, and community-first culture
Bonus Points For:
➕ Prior experience teaching Mat Pilates and/or Barre
➕ Background in dance, choreography, or musical movement
➕ Experience teaching in boutique studio or high-energy formats
➕ Familiarity with B/SPOKE + active Pilates: Fusion participation
➕ Creativity within a defined format
Training + Scheduling Expectations
🗓️ Training Period: December 3 – January 12 (primarily in-person with 2 virtual sessions; flexible around holidays)
Includes format-specific training + small group coaching with B/SPOKE’s Training Team:
✔️ Attend weekly training sessions, including both large + small group in person and virtual sessions
✔️ Take weekly Pilates: Fusion classes in studio and provide reflections/feedback
✔️ Complete demo teaching opportunities with peer + coach feedback
Note: Accelerated pathways may be available for candidates with advanced certifications or extensive teaching experience.
Interview + Audition Process
- Submit an online application
- Participate in an in-person audition at B/SPOKE
- Reference check (internal: current manager; external: recent facility manager)
- Optional interview with Leadership Team member
- Complete full instructor training (Invitation Only)
- Deliver final demo- this serves as your final audition
- Offer letter or Feedback
